JIDE IBITAYO is the Company Secretary/Legal Adviser of Mutual Benefits Assurance Plc and the subsidiary companies spread across three countries. He is a Barrister & Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria and a Solicitor of England & Wales. He is a graduate of Laws (LLB) from Ogun State University (now Olabisi Onabanjo University) before proceeding to obtain his Master of Laws (LLM) from the University College London specializing in Corporate and Commercial Laws. He is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries & Administrators, an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria and a Certified Compliance Professional.
He is an alumnus of Lagos Business School where he attended the Advance Management Programme. He was formerly a Partner at the London firm of Peniel Solicitors/Simon Bethel Solicitors and lectured Company and Revenue Laws at the Universities of Wolverhampton and Huddersfield through the Holborn College of Law London prior to joining MUTUAL, he also previously worked as a legal officer at defunct City Express Bank Plc which was acquired by UBA Plc.
He has over 20 years post qualification experience and competence in Legal and Business Management.
